Early Life

Roy was born in McComb, Mississippi on July 16, 1985. He spent his early years in Wisconsin and Michigan, before moving back to Mississippi in 1995. Roy attended and graduated with honors from West Lincoln High School. He played center on offense; defensive tackle and linebacker on defense; and special teams for his high school football team. Prior to joining the military, Roy was in discussions with coaches to play college football at Belhaven University.
Military Service

Roy’s journey into the U.S. Army began the summer before his senior year of high school. At just 17, before graduating from high school with honors less than a year later, he enlisted after watching the attacks of September 11 unfold and felt an unwavering call to defend his country. Without hesitation, he enlisted, ready to stand on the front lines for freedom.
Just two and a half years into his military career with the Mississippi Rifles, Roy would find himself in the middle of the Iraq War.

- 2004-2006: Combat Medic embedded with an infantry unit in Iraq’s Triangle of Death
- 2009-2010: Senior IT Specialist ensuring uninterrupted frontline communications

During two harrowing tours, Roy repeatedly put himself in harm’s way—tending to wounded soldiers under fire and restoring vital communication lines amid relentless attacks. His valor earned him the Combat Medical Badge (2005) and the Army Commendation Medal (2009), symbols of his selfless courage and outstanding service.

In addition to his two combat tours, Roy served as a squad leader, training non-commissioned officer (NCO), assistant operations NCO, and unit supply NCO. During his tenure, he managed over 400 soldiers and several million dollars of equipment.

Roy also held a top secret with sensitive compartmented information (TS/SCI) clearance which is a high-level security clearance that granted Roy access to classified national security information. In essence, Roy’s TS/SCI clearance signifies that he was thoroughly vetted and deemed trustworthy to handle highly sensitive classified information.

Roy’s legacy is written in every life he saved, every mission he completed against overwhelming odds, and every moment he chose honor over personal safety. His story is a testament to true heroism. He retired in 2018 as a Staff Sergeant, highly decorated combat veteran, and battle proven leader.

Entrepreneurial Journey
In 2019, after retiring from the military, Roy founded Flamsal (formerly known as Dixy Co.), the cornerstone of his family’s business empire. Under his stewardship, Flamsal has grown from a single venture into a diversified portfolio spanning the consumer, financial, health, industrial, technology, and professional services mass markets. Roy’s knack for spotting market trends and his commitment to operational rigor have driven Flamsal’s rapid expansion.

In addition to Flamsal, Roy expanded ARFFO even farther through the creations of ARFFO Trading (proprietary trading), Chateau Freeman (estate), Headquarters Company (management services and intellectual properties), Louismier (luxury), Pecado Group (vice), RFWMS (consulting), Servicaro (corrections, death care, government contracting, and security), numerous subsidiaries and affiliates, many philanthropic and charitable organizations, and thousands of investments worldwide.

Roy has been a commissioned Mississippi notary public since 2023 (Notary ID: 348010; expires 4/30/2027) and ServSafe: Food Protection Manager Certified since 2022 (Certificate Number: 23031635; expires 12/19/2027).
